A Programmable OpenTelemetry Collector Distribution from Grafana — Alloy is Grafana's OpenTelemetry Collector distribution, adding an expression-based config syntax for building observability pipelines across metrics, logs, traces, and profiles. It bridges OTel, Prometheus, Loki, and Pyroscope ecosystems, supports Kubernetes-native resource handling without a separate operator, and clusters instances for automatic workload distribution.
